| Dry film thickness |
A minimum working film build of 250 microns is (microns) required. |
| Wet film thickness/coat |
The application of one coat at 2m2/L rolled out to obtain an effective texture will give an approximate dry film build of 200 microns. |
| Theoretical Coverage |
For every 1m2 apply 0.5/litre i.e. no more than 2m2/L |
APPLICATION
Surface Preparation: Sand back existing coating to a rough finish then mask area to be coated. Ensure surface is sanded up to masking line. Wash away debris, dirt, dust etc with a mild detergent solution and rinse with warm water. Remove mould and lichen, dirt, dust etc if applying to concrete surfaces. Remove masking tape when coating has dried by cutting tape edge with a sharp cutting blade. Existing coatings must be sanded back to a dull finish, cleaned and checked to ensure adhesion to substrate is good.
Timber surfaces should be primed with a quality oil based primer. Prime concrete surfaces with a thin coat of KiwiGrip diluted 20% with water. Where existing coating is sound and well adhered apply KiwiGrip direct to the surface.
Pot life (at 25°C) - Single Pack Mixing - Stir thoroughly with a broad paddle to ensure product is fully incorporated.

Overcoating - May be glazed with a single or two pack polyurethane glaze where additional ease of clean is required. Care must be taken to ensure that the addition of the glaze film does not reduce the KiwiGrip effect. Not suitable for vehicular traffic.
Apply in small sections of 1 metre with a brush. Lay on thickly approximately .5 litre per square metre. Lay off with a goop loop roller. For areas requiring a high level of slip resistance allow the coating to dry slightly before re-rollering. Remove excess material progressively from the roller to ensure effective pattern is obtained.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS - HEALTH & SAFETY
